Congratulations to Amy Peterson, Current WyoSHA President, on being awarded the Council for State Association Presidents Travel Scholarship for 2024! Amy applied for this scholarship to offset travel costs to attend the annual CSAP 2-day conference in May. It is important for state organization leaders to attend CSAP to learn about leadership in the state, improve advocacy efforts, network with other state leaders, and support best practices through state organization membership as an ASHA affiliate. The WyoSHA board supports travel to CSAP, however, the travel scholarship is an exciting award that will undoubtedly benefit WyoSHA during Amy’s tenure as president. Amy will be sharing information via social media about her CSAP conference experience May 16-18 and in an upcoming Postcard from the President, so stay tuned!
